Power of Friendship Club

The Museum holds an afternoon tea club each 4th Sunday of the month as part of the Maldon Livewell Campaign, filled with oodles of tea/coffee, scrumptious cake and a carousel of fun/informative/entertaining activities relating to science, engineering, art, technology and maths and nutritional guidance. 

This will offer a regular face-to-face friendly link every month for over 60s who have little or no contact with family or friends. We aim that this will bring people together so they can develop and enjoy friendship, build support networks and give all involved something to look forward to month to month. 

Why join us?

Museums are well known to be restorative environments - places where people go to relax, recharge, and boost their mental and physical well-being. 

The club will meet between 10:30am-12:30pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month - all year round.
